How to stop moving Inbox messages into Trash in Microsoft Outlook

When we configure microsoft outlook for pop3 mail access for our PC then by default all the downloaded messages in Outlook , are moved to Trash from Inbox.

To change this setting just go to

Tools > Options > Mail Setup > E-mail Accounts > Repair > Check the box 'Manually configure server setting or additional server types' > Click Next > More Setting > Advanced  >  Delivery > Check the box 'Leave a copy of message on the server' > Ok

This setting will work for only new incoming mails. Older messages moved in Trash from Inbox can be moved manually  to Inbox if  that are not deleted.

If you are setting up a New Account then go to

Tools > Options > Mail Setup > E-mail Accounts > New > Microsoft Exchange , POP3 , IMAP or HTTP > Next > Fill up the details > Check the box 'Manually configure server setting or additional server types' > Click Next > Internet E-mail >More Setting > Advanced  >  Delivery > Check the box 'Leave a copy of message on the server' > Ok

Now Just click on Send/Receive.
