After doing alot of effort finally I fixed the issue related with HP LaserJet 1200 Series Printer Windows 7 driver. I visited HP website many times but it didn't help. then I used windows updates to install the appropriate driver and I got succeeded by this method. The HP LaserJet 1200 Series Printer is easily compatible with Windows Xp and Ubuntu but it has some issues with Windows 7. Let me tell you the step-wise procedure followed by me.
First you have to enable Windows Update. To enable windows update Just go to
Control Panel >System and Security >Windows Update > Change Setting
Choose Option Install updates automatically and check the box for Recommended Updates & Who can install updates then Press Ok
Now you have enabled the windows update.
Its time to intsall HP LaserJet 1200 Series printer driver for windows 7
Just Connect your HP Printer It will try to install driver automatically but will be failed.
leave it as it is.
You must have an active internet connection then go to
Device Manager here you will see your printer listed HP LaserJet 1200 Series.
Select that and right click > update driver > choose Search automatically for updated driver software. It will take some minute to download and install as it is finished your printer will be working.
If problem still persists try one more time it will work. mine was solved.
after installation of driver turn off windows update as you enabled it.
