mediaserver process consuming lots of battery Android

I was having a problem of mediaserver process. In My Lenovo A6000 Android mobile in Battery consumption mediaserver process was showing at the top with very high battery usage. and my mobile battery was discharging rapidly. This problem came when I transferred some videos from my laptop to my mobile.

Consistent Motherboard Pentium 4 Graphics driver (VGA Controller) for Windows XP

Friends I was home and my Home PC has Consistent motherboard and 256 MB RAM, Kids used to learn by this computer. It has Pentium 4 processor. I played a video it was stucked, only audio sound was coming. then I checked from the device manager and found that it was missing VGA Controller driver and because of that it was not able to play videos . Although RAM is also less but yet I thought to install VGA Controller for this Consistent motherborad Pentium 4 with With Windows xp sp3.

Recover .chk files

If you have got your files converted into .chk extension then you can easily recover at some extent by using different softwares. In Linux (Ubuntu) if you delete a file it converts that file into .chk extension and saves in a folder in that drive. You can see that folder in windows it may be of the name '.Trash' or something similar to that. 

You can easily recover that files which may appear as .chk000, .chk001, .chk002 and so on. You just install a software TRC Data Recovery. Open it and navigate to the directory where .chk files are kept it will ask for location where to save the files when you recover them.

Windows 7 start-up repair disk works with dual boot

I was thinking that Windows 7 start-up repair disk doesn't work with Windows 7 and Ubuntu dual boot grub in case Windows 7 got any problem. I have Windows 7 Ultimate and Ubuntu 14.04 in my laptop.

Yesterday when I selected Windows it was unable to start. It was showing some file (.dll) missing I don't remember that missing file name. I used Windows 7 start-up repair disk and I was surprised it fixed the problem without causing any harm to Ubuntu 14.04.

Restore Windows 7 boot loader over Ubuntu/linux

If you have installed Windows 7 (any edition) and Ubuntu on your laptop or desktop then when you start your system the boot grub of Ubuntu appears and asks for selection of OS for start either Ubuntu or Windows.

In case you want to remove Ubuntu/linux from your system then if you delete the partition of Ubuntu by logging to Windows then your system will be unable to start and it will ask for grub rescue.

atio6xx.dll unloaded

If you have problem crashing your Adobe Photoshop after close up then it might be the problem due to your ati graphics driver. In case of mine (Sony Vaio VPCEB34EN) the fault was due to unloaded atio6xx.dll and I sorted out problem by searching in google.

If you want to make partition or want to create a new partition in your removable disk or pendrive I have a best way to do it which makes very easy. you can make partition in your hard drive also.

Tecplot : Configuration file is missing

When you start Tecplot you are getting error messages about Configuration file is missing? and Cannot find font input file.

Solution : This error message means that your Tecplot home environment variable is not set. Please restart you Computer after the installation of Tecplot. If still the problem persists then once again install the Tecplot by using run as administrator and choose option repair and restart you system. Mine was solved check yours. 

Showing boot error : USB boot

Yesterday I was trying to boot my Sony Vaio laptop by USB which already has windows 7 Home Basic. The USB containing Ubuntu 12.04 , I  made it bootable by using software pendrivelinux. I have booted it many times by using my moserbaer pendrive but this time I was using Sandisk pendrive due to unavailablity of that pendrive.

I changed the boot order in BIOS, put removeable disk at first preference. when I restarted the system was showing 'boot error'. I thought may be it is due to some fault in making pendrive bootable. and I made it bootable again, still it was showing 'boot error'.

What is live OS ?

Live OS referrs to an operating system which runs in a computer's memory instead of loading from a hard disk that mean you can directly boot your Computer System by a bootable cd or bootable removable media like external hard drive , pendrive , floppy drive etc. These live operating systems are used for temporary pupose when our installed operrating system have some problem or taking some data which is on the hard disk of a system which os has been crashed.

Configure Your Netwrok for Static IP

In Colleges or Some organizations internet service is given by wireless network and they have dhcp enabled configuration.when you connect your device (laptop, tablet) a temporary ip address is assigned for some seconds after that server assigns a permanent ip adrress and whenever you connect your device to same server it assigns the same ip until you make some changes in it.

when the load on server is exceeded the server has less priority to assign a permanent ip it may show Identifying (.....) for some time after that Unidentified Network.
